I know this is a bit off topic, but I felt that this was an important picture to take and send back East.

In the 'never forget' department, both the Los Angeles City and County Fire Department trucks carry the legend depicted in the photo below as a living memorial to those brothers who lost their lives on 9/11.

As a dyed-in-the-wool New Yorker, it has been a touching and traumatic sight for me each time I see the F.D.N.Y. logo go by.
