Speaking of which . . . though the "Noo Yawk" in name only football scene is pretty pathetic, the Jets actually won one more game this season than the Liliputians who are passing themselves off as "Giants" - who lost (what else is new?) to New England.

As did the Devils, which seems to speak of how the "coyce" of "En-Jay-Tee" has even affected their home "toif" of late.

On the plus side, "doze Nets" won . . .

Sounds like baseball isn't the only sport where there's a massive rivalry between "Noo Yawk" and "Bah-ston" - last night the "Ka-nikker-bockers" lost to the "SELL-ticks" there. Apparently the animated "Globetrotters' " bus developed a few glitches en route . . .

O.T.O.H., the "RAIN-jers" and "EYE-landers" won, so at least for the time being Mr. Fischler doesn't have to think about the Maalox. . . .

W.B.;

If "doze animated Globetrotters" had some issues with their team bus, chances are it was a "BINO"(!!) Wink

Indeed, Mr. Fischler can again breath a little easier, and ease up a bit on the "Maalox", at least for another day......(!!) Shocked

And surprise, surprise, surprise - BOTH the "Ka-nikker-bockers" and "doze Nets" won their respective games last night. However, seems "doze Devils" are once again struck by "da coyce" of "En-Jay-Tee" on their own "toif," as they lost yet again.

Will wonders NEVER cease?? Shocked

When you look at how "En-Jay-Tee" has indeed "jinxed" bus operations here in "Joisey" for some 40-odd years now, it comes as little surprise why their insidious "coyce" is currently afflicting "doze Nets"....... Rolling Eyes

"Doze Nets" haven't played in "Joisey" in years - it's "doze Devils" now being afflicted. After all, how could a "coyce" affect a team now playing in Brooklyn - a team that actually WON last night . . . ?

Although, when "doze Nets" DID play in "Joisey," you could say they were "coyced" then, most of the time.

Yesterday, I see, the "RAIN-jers" and "EYE-landers" both won their respective matches, but "doze Nets" lost.

And, last night, "doze Ka-nikker-bockers" won (which one can only conclude the animated "Globetrotters" were at the stands), but the "En-Jay-Tee" hex continues to plague "doze Devils" - yep, they lost again.

More updates in the wild and crazy "woild" of "Noo Yawk" sports:

"Doze Nets" won again, but the "RAIN-jers" and "doze Devils" lost. No doubt Mr. Fischler, viz the former team, is once more chuggin' the Maalox . . .

Talk about a man whose life has NEVER been dull, and has seen and done just about all (at least regarding hockey and historic "Noo Yawk" transit!) Very Happy

A long, rich, and highly-colorful career in hockey, for sure! Wink
