Now THAT'S one TOUGH CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked

Considering that PGM property, I always thought that the purchase by PS of these ACF-BRILL suburbans was a bit "off the norm" for them.

As you already know, when i was a lad, I was QUITE familiar with the "Rocky BRILL-boas" that ran on DE CAMP's #22 and INTER-CITY's #97!

These big, beefy buses not only LOOKED tough, but SOUNDED tough!!!! Shocked Shocked

GREAT PHOTO!!! Very Happy

These ACF-Brill model C-44 were the first 35 foot suburbans purchased by Public Service in 1947 along with a group of GM transits.

They were numbered A900-A917.

Appreciate, as always, the additional info!

Growing up in the 60s, I also remember seeing (but never getting to ride) the "C-44s" operated by SOMERSET (these buses were particularly attractive!)

"BRILL-Boas" were always handsome and impressive-looking buses, a far cry from today's mundane, insipid shoe boxes and giant, mutated insects....(!!)
