I'm wondering, is that two-tone blue bus one of the 8800's ordered by the 'Tee-Yay' in 1968? Or within the 1970-71 4300's-4400's? On another thread, I noted the significance of the green bus in terms of how the TA rivaled Avenue B & East Broadway in terms of having the oldest buses in service on and about Manhattan. |

W.B:
This gets Your's Truly to thinking as to what routes (garages) then operated the oldest of the Fishbowls.
With all Old Looks retired, it would have been all about where the oldest Fishbowls operated, and where the oldest "Dangerfields" operated (and were based)
I know that the oldest "Dangerfields" were those purchased by the "Tee-Yay" in 1964; the first order of these buses went to Brooklyn, and the second order went to Queens......
