Yup, for the next two weekends, there are shuttle buses replacing portions of subway service in every borough served.
-7 line between Flushing-Main Street and Woodside
-G line between Nassau Ave and Jay Street-A/C/F station
-4 line between Woodlawn and Bedford Park Blvd
-And the usual 1 line tourist shuttle between Chambers and South Ferry.
After this weekend and next, the 7 line bustitution continues for a few more weekends while the 1 tourist shuttle will continue throughout summer 2008.
I wonder how many buses are needed for these operations.  |
