A reference was made in another post of city buses that wound up in the drink after the depot parking lot collapsed.
I believe that one or two buses, on loan from Washingto, D.C., ended going into Davey Jones' locker. The City reimbursed Washington by sending two GM new looks in their place.
However, this is not one of those Washington buses but a City owned #8920, a GM T6H-5305A.
Note the collapsing parking lot

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is NOT your "typical" old bus photo, by ANY means!!!
DARE I say it, but, for a type of bus known as a "Fishbowl", it might seem that the bus might just have had an instinctive urge to "swim with the fishes", given its moniker?
(all kidding aside, thankfully, no driver was aboard that ill-fated bus)
"NYO"
BTW:
It had to have been an interesting recovery mission, indeed, to haul that unlucky bus from the drink; also, I'm sure the other buses had to be moved off that crumbling pier with EXTREME care, when getting them back to dry land!
