Here we see Fifth Avenue Coach #2502, GM TDH-5104, in its original color scheme.
The second view shows the same bus, in front of the Public Library, in it's second color scheme, experimental. This would lead to the scheme used on the 2600 series of TDH 5106 in 1958.
Both views show 2502 operating out of the 132nd Street Depot.
Shortly afterwards, this bus was transferred to the Northern Boulevard and 76th Street Depot for service on the Jackson Heights Line, route 15. (I rode this bus several times in the experimental scheme on route 15)
In its last scheme, two tone green from MaBSTOA, the bus would operate out of the West Farms Depot

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA+++++++++++++++++++++!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yet again, once again, your photos get me thinking (again!) of you coming out with a detailed photo history of MABSTOA, starting from the end of FACCo. up through the present.
I have no doubt that any work by you on the subject would be OUTSTANDING, DETAILED, and ACCURATE!!
"NYO"
PS: Ralph Kramden would LOVE these photos!

Looks and sounds like the reassignment of 2502 to West Farms would have coincided with the arrival of the first built-for-MaBSTOA buses (3301-3555), a portion of which went to 132nd Street - and freed up some of the best of the FACCo fleet from 1952 and prior at 132nd to be sent off to ex-STS depots.
I seem to remember another bus of the 1953 TDH-5104 order in the 2500's also in the design layout of the "experimental" bus (that photo of which would have been taken in April 1957), but in the usual green and cream color scheme (and anticipating the paint scheme/layout of the last 90 'Old Look' buses built for Fifth Avenue Coach Lines (2605-2694) - and 30 for Surface Transit (3020-3059, later renumbered 3291 and 3221-3259 respectively).

W. B. Fishbowl... I believe you mean #2504. I forgot about this experimental color scheme.
IMHO, this was the best looking color scheme ever!
Note that 2504 is on route 4, Penn Station. Also, in the first photo, 2504 is followed by a TDH-4509, number 2383 on route 15, Jackson Heights towards 25th Street.
In the second photo it is heading towards Fort Tryon Park
