MCI will build up to 142 diesel electric hybrid D4500 commuter coaches for Houston METRO.
Question: Do you think NYCT or MTAB ever would do likewise? |

I'm guessing the MTA will wait a couple of years to see what NJ Transit's experience is with hybrid MCIs. |

However, NJ Transit's hybrid MCIs are from 2002. |

At this point, it's highly unlikely, consider the MTA is getting new X3-45 OTR buses in the near future (which will be clean diesels). |
