Fellows:

Back in the early days of NJT, I can recall riding some really classic buses, as well as seeing some very interesting assignments.

I can remember riding (on what had been Orange & Black's "RIVER ROAD EXPRESS") on an ex-O&B 4104, as well as 4106's and Buffalos".

I'm interested in finding out what company originally owned the 4106's......INTER-CITY, perhaps?

I also distinctly remember riding (again, on the RRE) on either an MC-7 ( or an early MC-8 ); I clearly remember the wide blank panel that produced seats with virtually no window.

Again, I have no clue as to what company originally owned this bus (buses?)

I'm guessing that the Buffalos were either former PSNJ or INTER-CITY coaches.

On a related note, for a time during 1985, the #181 (formerly the PSNJ/TNJ #21) was using at least a few ex-PSNJ suburban Fishbowls; I can recall riding these several times out of Hoboken that year, and, as you might expect, being VERY surprised, to say the least!

This was highly unusual, as only rear door transits had been used on this line, for as long as I had been riding it (I mostly recall the Z-300 series Fishbowls here)

Still can't fathom why I never took any photos!

Variety like this surely will never be seen again!

Any input/info provided will be greatly appreciated....thank you in advance....
