In numerous photos of early GM "new look" buses, I noticed that these buses originally came equipped with pantograph(double arm) type wipers on both 5301 and 5302 models and were later switched to single arm wipers. Could that be that the pantograph wipers required too much air pressure to work properly, maintenance issues of the arms or a combination of both?
