Since all these orders that are coming in the near future are for clean diesel buses, coupled with the recent failures of the Designline hybrids, is the MTA done with buying hybrid buses? I remember reading somewhere that the MTA may continue buying hybrids in smaller numbers (i.e. 200-300 buses), but it seems that the MTA is not satisfied with the progress with the Orion VII OG and NG hybrids. This is the reason that MTA bus Company is convert their Orion VII hybrids to clean diesel. |

Makes me wonder if we'll see LFS hybrids or XDE40s down the road, I mean, whatever happened to that Sunwind LFS that was suppose to be here back in 2011 or so? |
