What buses do you guys think will be completely retired first?

- 1996-1999 Novabus RTS's

- remaining 1995-2004 Orion Vs (This includes NICE's Orion V CNGs)
-remaining 2000-2004 New Flyer D60HFs
or
-1999-2002 MCI D4500s?

Which do you chose and why?

Who really cares. We are just interested spectators to the unfolding scene. We have no clout to change the eventual outcome.. Logically the first ones to go would be the buses, on an individual basis depending on their lack of mechanical reliability.

Well this IS a bus forum. I just thought I would be interesting to see what other people will think about what will retire before what.

Well yes, this is a bus forum, but I think the focus is much less on the present scene with more emphasis on the historic aspect of New York City buses - as evident by Mr. L's endless and informative treasure trove of photos and stories.

No one has a crystal ball to predict the fate of current buses. What happens tomorrow will definitely be covered on this forum, but in the past tense later on. Stay tuned ...

Frankie
