On 6-6-1943 at the S/W corner of Crossbay blvd.
and Liberty ave. we see a GBL Mack (704) loading
up for a southbound trip to Rockaway Park on the
Q-21. Credit within the photo.
I can't really remember if this exact photo was posted
before or a very similar one from a slightly different
angle.
I'm sure Mr. L will fill us in on the details.

Free-transfer,
I can sure try! I think I've shown something similar some time back - but no matter - it's great enough to reprize;
You're looking at a 1938 37 passenger Mack modeled as a CT-3G and one of thirty-five likenesses numbered 701 to 735 delivered to Green Bus Lines, Inc. then of Long Island City, New York in May of that year.
While being grossly underpowered, the solidly built model CT became the backbone of Green's fleet through the war years with a record 100 on the roster.
Of note on the shown #704 are its original factory paint job which, due to shortages of paints, had to last until 1946 and the unusual darkened 'golden glow' headlamps as ordered by the War Department.
Thanks so much for sharing.
Regards,
Mr. 'L'
