Nice photo. The GM suburban appears to belong to Reading Transportation Co., a subsidiary of the Reading Railroad. The bus in front of it is an Aerocoach.

Correct Roy. This is one of Reading Transportation Co.s TDM-4008s purchased 3/48. Fleet numbers 410-415. Nice looking coach. |

That is a Reading Transportation TDM-4515 and not TDM-4008. Reading acquired the 4515s in 1954 and were numbered 4501-4505 (serial numbers 019-023). |

Here's a better shot of a GM TDH 4515 built sometime between 1953 and 1959 and operating as fleet #82 for the Wilson Bus Lines, Inc. of East Templeton, Massachusetts.
The drop sash windowed TDM 4515 was merely an Air Suspended version of the drop sash windowed TDM 4509 that was introduced in 1949 and carried the same transit platform.
Also differentiating the two models were more modern engine air intake cowls over the rear quarter windows and the elimination of the ThermoMatic system which was replaced by a forced air intake where the GM badge would have been under the windshield and roof exhaust dampers reminiscent of Yellow and GM coaches of yore.
Worthy of note is the fact that neither of these single door models underwent a production roof alteration as did the later TDH 4509's and all 4511's and 4512's which was precipitated by a weakness found over the rear doors of New York City's wide bodied TDH 4510's.
#82 must have made a very comfortable School Bus what with its well cushioned high back seats!
Photo courtesy of '4509bus' and is available at eBay as item # 350912501674.
