Buffalo News - NFTA to embark on a $4.5 million plan to transform Niagara Street commute
Plan is to upgrade the 5-Niagara bus route effectively to a BRT-style operation by 2015 with traffic signal synchronization and new bus shelters with electronic arrival signs. Also included is the planned purchase of five 40-foot CNG buses for the route and a new transit center in the Riverside area for routes 3, 5, 23, 32, 35 and 40 and park & ride users. |
