Continuing in my quest to find out what the special factory installed lights over the windshields of buses built for Connecticut were for, I present more evidence that they may have been a state wide requirement!
Seen below is fleet # 10 - a 1953 37 passenger GM Coach Model TDH 3714 and one of two likenesses with the other (#11) arriving in 1958 and delivered to the Oak Street Bus Line of New Britain, Connecticut.
In the case of #10, the lights have been mounted in the general area of where Michigan Markers would be placed and, as stated in another thread, they are blue in hue.
Of further note on #10 is the lack of a ThermoMatic heating and ventilation system which would indicate that the company preferred more comfortable and practical under seat radiation.
