CT Transit's downtown Hartford circulator, formerly known as the Star Shuttle, has been rebranded as "DASH" (Downtown Area Shuttle). The free service connects the CT Convention Center, the Riverfront, the CT Science Center, the Arts and Entertainment District, various restaurants, and downtown hotels.

I wonder if the resident who coined the new name realizes that numerous other cities have used the moniker 'Dash' for downtown shuttles? At least CT Transit is going back to a unique and bright paint scheme - when I visited Hartford over the summer, the 1200-series Xcelsior hybrids were painted in the same blue and silver scheme as the dozens of other buses passing through downtown at the same time.
