Parked along with others of its ilk at a company facility on an unknown date is fleet #8432 - a 1936 35 passenger Yellow Coach Model 732 operating for Public Service Interstate Transport of Newark, New Jersey (NJPS).

Configured as a Parlor Car for NJPS and the forerunner of the later more advanced Dieselized Model 740 version, the 732 with a wheelbase of 214 5/8 inches gained power from a GM series 450 707 cubic inch gasoline engine mounted transversely at the rear and coupled to a multi-speed mechanical transmission utilizing Yellow's exclusive angle drive.

The company purchased fifty of the first 732's off the line numbered in both the 6,000 and 8,000 ranges for intercity operation with the first 30 having roof mounted luggage racks at the rear and the last 20 with interior parcel shelves instead.

Of note on # 8432 are the sets of three bars at the lower edge of each passenger window to prevent elbow incursions and air intakes at either side of the destination sign connected to a full time mechanical ventilation system for operation in New York State.
