Just wondering does anyone else have the digital recorders talking bus system on there buses? All of our 10 gilligs have it installed. 7 of them have the older DR500C+ systems and our 3 new buses have the DR600's. My company has put me in charge of updating them every so often. I just did a major update with all the transfer points. I also programed them to have a timed message every 15 minutes. I only have 8 on there now so every 2 hours they start repeting themselfs, but im planning on adding more messages soon. |

Nothing personal but...If I had to listen to that every day as a driver, I would have been looking for a way to sabotage the system. |

A canned announcement every 15 minutes seems OK. And the announcements sounded good, both in clarity and topic. My drivers would not complain. Of course, a second language for the passengers would be needed. |
