I see only nine GBL numbers showing and 18 Jamaica Bus numbers. I think some data is missing. Can you check this?

Thanks and best regards,
Vince

Vince,

Sorry about that - let me look at my records as we speak! (intermission).

O.K. - this is the correction (which I will make in the main body of the report);

311, 316, 321, 325, 327, 329, 334, 338 & 342 to Jamaica as 401, 412, 405, 415, 407, 416, 408, 409 and 420 respectively.

My only excuse is that when you deal with these numbers and lists so late at night, you eventually dizzy from them!

Again, sorry for the error and thanks for the heads up!

An addendum to the above listing;

Newly obtained information will complete the TDH 4512 catagory as follows;

1954 GMC Model TDH 4512;

#101 (Ser# 0548) to; Kent State University Campus Bus Svc. as # 1545
#102 (Ser# 0549) to; Kent State University Campus Bus Svc. as # 1234
#103 (Ser# 0550) to; Kent State University Campus Bus Svc. as # 1434
#104 (Ser# 0551) to; Kent State University Campus Bus Svc. as # 1745
#105 (Ser# 0552) to; Kent State University Campus Bus Svc. as # 1644
#109 (Ser# 0556) to; Kent State University Campus Bus Svc. as # 1134
#111 (Ser# 0558) to; Kent State University Campus Bus Svc. as # 1334

All of the above were sold to Kent State in 1967.

An interesting aside; these people must have known what they were doing because in addition to Green Line's above 4512's they also bought five from Santa Monica Municipal Bus and one from M. K. & O. Transit of Tulsa Oklahoma.

This gave them an initial fleet of what were probably the 'best' buses ever built!
