Late this afternoon, 1052 was involved in a minor traffic accident by the MacArthur Holiday Inn. I didn't notice any damage to the bus, the front was facing away from me parked alongside the road next to the hotel off Vets.

Those Orion VII seem to be tough as nails, I have yet to hear of one being taken OOS because of an accident, and that inculdes 1004 that was accidently driven into the woods not long after it was put in service.

A bus on the S40 got into an accident on the 8th, I don't know the exact bus number but its believed that it could have been 5004.

The 8004 was seen being in use of the S54 today around 3:30PM. That's another hybrid bus used, I like seeing them used outside of the Route 110 corridor. I often wonder why they have not had them run different routes.

2001 was used on the S68 and 5073 was used on the S40 Yesterday.

Suffolk Bus Corp has been using the 2000 Surburbans on other routes besides the S110 as well. 2002 was used on the S59 a month or two ago, and 2004 was used on the 7B last month as well. 2004 was almost used on the S61 back in May I think but 1035 returned to Patchouge in time to do its run so it wasn't needed.

5004 was returned to service on the S40, in its now usual place replacing 5006.

Also heard from a guy who talked to a S58 driver, who said that 1057 may not come back.

Saw 1042 on the S57 today. Don't know if it's old news but this bus has a driver side ad wrap.

I saw a bus that has the Mercedes Benz whole bus wrap. I saw it on Jericho Turnpike the same day, I saw the 602 on HART running. However I only saw the driver side and tail end, so I didn't see the route, based on where I was it could only be either the S41, S54, or S58. Unlike NICE or NYCT, there isn't a back route number display and that has always frustrated me.
