hey all,
Can you help us? We are hoping to invalidate a patent that's being asserted against various municipalities for their vehicle tracking and notification systems.
You can read more about our efforts here: https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2012/03/help-eff-bust-dangerous-jones-patent
Basically, we need to find evidence (manual, press release, patent, article, trade show display, etc.) of a system that does the following and was in place before January 1999:
(1) Monitors a vehicle
(2) Compares the vehicle's current status with its scheduled status
(3) Contact's a user's communication device
(4) Notifies a user of the vehicle's status relative to the vehicle's stop. For example, sending a text or calling the user to the user letting the user know the bus is 5 mins away.
PLEASE PLEASE HELP! Any information, people to contact, links, etc are appreciated. |
