I'm not sure of where this photo was taken, but it had to be sometime in the late '20's. What look like Whites and ready to embark on their intended routes. I don't have much info on these buses, but it's just one more photo to add to the LI bus archives!

Sensational! a truly great find!
These were Whites and as near as I can figure, they were Model 50B's circa 1926 (coincidentally, the same year that Hempstead Bus took over the routes of the Long Island Traction Company) - so these may have been their first buses.
Of note are the hydraulic shock absorbers that sat in front of the head lamps.
White made no bodies of their own in that era and dealt mostly with Bender whose factory was also in Cleveland although they were not related.
