S71 has a new stop

S-60 To Smith Haven Mall

The S71 now stops at the Probation Offices in Yaphank, its a recent addition. So recent that the driver of the bus my sister was on this morning got lost. No mention of this on SCT's website.

LOL! I knew that was coming! The Jail stop! Just like in Riverhead!

As far as I know the new stop is to serve the Probation center only, not the Jail.

You know, I mispoke. It's NEAR the Riverhead Jail BUT the main stop is in front of the County Center.

Oh yeah that stop, though I wasn't kidding about the rumor that they wanted to make a stop at the Riverhead Jail. Now I'm not sure how true that rumor is as the person I heard it from heard it from a bus driver.
