Because Veolia took over LI Bus two days previously, on 1.3.2012 I visited the Rockville Centre train station because there is often some bus action on the south side of the station. I came across this old, interesting sign.
The N15 (Long Beach - Roosevelt Field) and N16 (Baldwin - Roosevelt Field) provide service four or five times hourly on their routes which do a good job of tying residential areas to jobs or connecting transportation.

Nice bus uses the posted number for information.
Maybe the MTA should add a remark about Airtrain, though bouncing along Merrick Road on an N4 is much less expensive. There is no suggestion on this sign where to find the N4. |
