Hey guys, here's my contribution to this forum when it comes to photos. I will post my best photos of the week of past couple of weeks depending on how busy I am.

Here's the first batch, a 4 part report.

*Parts 1 and 2 are copied from the transitfan.com forum. Takes less time to post that way. Wink

Originally posted on Tuesday Nov. 1st.
I'll have to put you in context of certain photos I took. Last week I had an appointment at the hospital and I had time before going so I went down to TCV, and then Monday, I went to see my doctor because I have an inner ear infection so I got pics of STL buses and at Radisson and after feeling dizzy Monday night, on Tuesday, I tried to go to work but the dizzy spells started again, so I went back home and I took the long way to get there stopping a few times, that's why I have night photos and at sunrise. Now that we got that out of the way, let's start by the STM.

Société de transport de Montréal
13-083 on Notre-Dame and 81è Avenue Monday afternoon

15-086 at St-Denis, on Saturday October 15th

21-203, Sunday afternoon at Frontenac

22-227 at the Notre-Dame/Sherbrooke roundabout Tuesday afternoon

24-206 in front of the Grande Bibliothèque Tuesday morning

24-239 at Joliette Tuesday morning again

25-228 on voie Camilien-Houde atop Mount Royal Sunday afternoon

30-096 at terminus Radisson Monday afternoon

31-002 at Station Centrale which brought me to have a driver reaction that has been documented in the "Driver Reactions to Busfans..." thread. If you want to know what happened, go take a look at the thread.

31-121 on St-Michel near Rosemont, A/C equipped too. Wink

Two rookies, 31-221 on the Alouettes Shuttle on Sunday afternoon and 31-235 at Frontenac Tuesday morning

30-830 on Côte-des-Neiges near Linton, Sunday afternoon

31-850 this morning at Joliette metro. Right before I crossed the street to go to Couche-Tard to get a bottle of water. I had to hold on to the car because I was losing my balance because of another dizzy spell...

30-405 on Maurice-Duplessis in front of the Rivière-des-Prairies hospital on Monday in the AM.

And a little extra to close out the STM part of my best of, FHTCQ's 55-001 and 7296 inside Bellechasse, seen on a rainy Friday evening, October 14th.

More to follow this week. Wink

Excellent photos! So much variety in Montréal - I really need to get back there some day, hopefully before the Classics are retired.

I heard the STM are supposed to retire the remaining 20 or so Classics by the end of the year. The RTL (Longueuil) and STL (Laval) still have MCIs, so you may have a better shot there.

Here's the conclusion of my best of transit photos of the past two weeks. This post features buses from the Société de transport de Trois-Rivières with some extras.

Thursday Anne's daycare was closed, and it will be until Tuesday, so I took the day off and I wanted to go to Trois-Rivières to go do some photos. I decided to make it a father-daughter day and hopefully take a ride on an STTR bus while we're there.

Three quick shots before a little toilet break (Tim's coffee is great, but I don't know, for some reason it went down rather fast...)
0205 at terminus Centre-ville (It is noted that all of the STTR photos were taken at or near terminus Centre-ville

Two Orléans Express coaches waiting at the bus depot near the STTR terminus, 5813 and 5605

Coming back from our bathroom stop, and Anne needed to go (more like I coaxed her into going, heh heh), another Orléans Express, 5912 at the platform heading to Montreal by way of Laval.

Back at the STTR terminus and here are pics of 0803, 1101, 0904, 1001 and 1102 before going for a little snack at McD's nearby.

Ok, I really wanted to show you guys the nice looking girl with her nice boots to spice up my post. Wink

Big news!!! I also bought Anne a car. Yes she's only 3½ but I got her a 1957 Chevy Bel Air!! Here it is!!!

Ha!!! Made you look!!!
Well, back at terminus Centre-ville and here are 1003 and the return of 1101 before another bathroom break.

The bus depot with its three platforms.

Anne wanted her photo taken with a coach, so here it is:

0704 at the terminus before our ride in a...

New Look!!!

Anne had the best seat after Félix's Very Happy

"Papa, je conduis l'autobus de ton ami Félisque!"

"If only my legs were a little bit longer..."

"Ok, ready to roll!! No, I don't go to Centre Les Rivières. Ummm... Where is that???"

The photographer has his picture taken at the wheel. Oh how I wished I could drive this baby!

8202. This bus had its start at the CMTS in Sherbrooke in 1982 with the fleet number 32105 and was sold to the STO in 1999 where it was renumbered 8202. I'll tell you one thing, it's in very good hands. Here's a couple of pics taken at terminus Centre-ville before our return trip back to Montreal.

That's one fine piece of ass. Bus ass that is. Smile

Our driver, Félix Parent-Rocheleau also driver at the STTR... or Félisque like Anne would say!

Daddy and his little one!

And little one in front of the bus.

Two last pics before heading back.

There you go. Hope you enjoyed this.

See you later! Smile

Hi, here's some more photos taken recently. We start with Saturday, November 12th, I went to do the groceries in Laval, so we have some STL pics.

0922, a little blurry, but not that bad.

Went by the STL garage where we see 6010 and 6015, both retired Sad

Then on des Laurentides and Saint-Martin, 0107 shows up

Sunday the 13th, we go do a usual bagel run and on Sherbrooke, two 26-0XX are seen, first 26-025 at the corner of Aylwin

And 26-036 at the corner of de Lorimier

On Pine, near the Manège des Fusilliers Mont-Royal, we see 30-058 on the 144

On Park and Duluth, 30-833 is seen

Coming back at Honoré-Beaugrand, brand new 31-236 on the 185 (I was standing on the median)

Thursday I had an appointment to meet Rose's teacher for the report card at Montarville school and I got there 10-15 minutes early, so I got a pic of P9-929 on Montarville and Hôtel-de-Ville

Friday, I finished an hour earlier so I went to Lionel-Groulx and two HEVs were there, 28-704 and 28-705

31-003 on the 747 with a new driver at the wheel

University and St-Jacques, 27-534 with the downtown forest of buildings Wink

In Old Montreal, Notre-Dame Basilica with the redone place D'Armes

The "Occupy Montreal" encampment at Square Victoria

I also stop at Ste-Catherine and de Lorimier and P9-812 waiting for its first departure of the PM rush on the 170

31-225 on Maisonneuve

Jacques-Cartier bridge seen from de Lorimier

Last photo taken Friday on my way to Rose's swimming lesson at Mont-Bruno High School, 23-229 is waiting for the green light at the corner of Sherbrooke and du Tricentenaire

Sorry about the delay posting, but I've been busy with a big messy problem...
