I recall that this topic appeared before, but a "Search" has not uncovered the previous thread. Anyhow, in a book of Berenice Abbott's New York photos, I found this picture today. Therefore, I hunted for it on the web and found it here, though not as sharp:

The first buses nose-in have roof markings, "Central Greyhound Lines."
The bus leaving the driveway has "NORTHAMPTON" on the roller sign. Massachusetts? New Jersey?
The third bus in line on the right has a clear sign "ASBURY PARK" on the roller. Rollo already?
When Port Authority Bus Terminal was built, Greyhound did not move in for maybe ten years. This bus station and one on 50th Street stayed in use for a long time.
