Seen with Old Saint Nick at the company's Fairview Avenue garage in Allentown, Pennsylvania on November 29th. 1962 and readying for another holiday run is fleet number 1250 - a custom remade version of a 1935 ACF Model H-15 operating for the Lehigh Valley Transit Company.
With its 'pancake' engine under floor amidships, the H-15 was ideal for such conversions affording plenty of unfettered interior space and very often found a second life as a service car for many bus companies.
I especially like the retention of the lower half of the passenger door and the very snappy white wall tires.
It wouldn't surprise me if # 1250 is still making its appointed holiday rounds!
