Does someone know what, if any buses are running Monday, more specifically in the NW Suffolk area? If so, what schedule are they running under? |

From the mta.info website, it appears that Columbus Day is considered an ordinary day, with N79 from Mineola to Walt Whitman Mall hourly. I urge you to check the site yourself.

Yep, Guess so. I checked out the HART from someone offline who knows, and that seems to be the only bus not running at all, in fact HART seems to take off every holiday. I wonder why that is? Anyway as people have said the others seem running regular schedule. It's as if for them it's just a regular Monday and not a federal holiday. Thanks to all that replied to my posts. |

Didn't Suffolk Transit use to run some routes on Saturday schedules on Columbus Day in the past? |

Last Veteran's Day, there was a modified schedule similar to what you mentioned. I don't recall a modified schedule for last year's Columbus Day. And as for Veteran's Day, this year I guess we'll know in a few short weeks. |

Huh, I could have sworn the did it for Columbus Day as well Oh Well must have mis-remembered.
Yeah they prob will have the modified schedule for Veterans Day, since they always do it. I can't see Suffolk not doing it. |
