Let me get this straight. After operating MC-9's for 5 years, then managing a company with 3 MC-9's, now that I've been out of the business for 12 years...now we find the damn operator's manual??? |

I saw it yesterday afternoon. Nice diagram of the 4-speed manual/solenoid reverse operation. I had a year ago downloaded one of GMC buses's similiar one.
For MCI:
1 3
2 4
R
For GMC:
1 3
2R 4
Interesting that 5-speeds just have the standard separate reverse, but then again, there's a open area above "1st." for reverse, so I guess, why not use it. I assume had 6-speeds existed the solenoid shbift would be used but not on 7 speeds and 3 speeds (but what bus would suffice with THAT.)
Even has an auto. trans operation.Nice seeing these online and I noted a Boue Bird one posted as well.. |
