A chartered coach returning a family from a reunion in Buffalo NY to Alabama crashed near Bowling Green, KY.

Initial speculation is the driver fell asleep. But the troubling part of the crash is the reported 1 fatality and 66 injuries. The pictures clearly show this is an MCI 102DL3. With a restroom, this coach normally seats 55 plus a driver. This means there were 11 people on this coach that were doubled up in seats, likely children. The operating company never should have allowed this, knowing passenger seats have no restraints. This is going to be a fast lawsuit against the bus company for allowing the bus to be overloaded. |

Terrible tragedy; what had started off as a good time really ended very differently.
Your point is well taken, KCRam3500. When a motor vehicle suffers an accident, occupants are thrown around violently like rag dolls. (Just look at what happened to Jon Corzine when he had his recent accident.) |
