The first buses of Waterbury's new Xcelsior fleet entered service April 1st. Here are some pictures taken today.
Bill
XD35 #A31 at South Main and East Main Sts. on the 16 route.
XDE35 #A48 at West Main and Leavenworth Sts. on the 27 route.
XDE35 #A50 at the Waterbury Green on the 45 route.
XDE35 #A49 at West Main and Church Sts. on the 22 route. |

Hmmm. 35-footers, too! Their 40-foot demo came through Louisville a couple of weeks ago.
Not a big NFI fan. They look okay, but there are too many defects as-delivered for my likes.

And up to now I thought Xcelsior's were fire extinguishers!
