Possibly expansion? Also can be used for other systems. One thing I know is that they're not for replacement of the 200 series. They're only 8 years old. Then again...

What's uo with the Star Shuttle? It's been running 40 footers in place of 701 the hydrogen fuel cell bus.

Myself and a few others are heading to Waterbury on Saturday hoping to catch some parting shots of the RTS. Bill D had posted a few weeks ago that the Excelsiors wouldn't be entering service in Waterbury until April, is that still the plan? Also, one of the folks in the group wants to stop in Hartford to check out the Van Hool fuel cell bus. It was posted here the other day it's not been seen in service in a few days, does anyone know if it's back in service yet?

Mark,

The first Xcelsiors are slated to go into service on April 1. We hope to have 5 or 6 ready on that day. This could possibly be the last weekend that service is provided totally by RTS's, so it will be a good time to catch them.

Bill

Thanks Bill, we're looking forward to catching the RTS one more time. Kudos to you & your staff for keeping them in such good shape for 15 years.
