I heard on WINS-AM at 10:00 this morning that a massive propane leak at or near Kohl's in Shirley is causing massive disruptions.

1 - A 200 unit apartment complex was evacuated

2 - Parts of Sunrise Highway, Montauk Highway and William Floyd Parkways were closed.

3 - No service on the LIRR from Patchouge to Speonk with bus service being
substituted.

at least 175 people were evacuated to William Floyd High School and according to Walk Radio, the Mastic Beach Fire Department.

There is no service to Mastic/Shirley Station because its close to the site.

Sunrise is closed at Exits 57,58 and, 59. William Floyd is closed from Sunrise to Montauk HWY, i believe. And Montauk is closed from PathMark to either Titmus Ave or before that. (my sister has a friend that lives before Titmus and he said he wasn't evacuated)

I haven't heard anything about a 200 unit Apartment complx being evacuated, though i don't know the exact area that was evacuated, i just know people from the Northernly and eastern areas were evacuated.

Also power has been cut to the immediate area of Kohls.

Also it happen at 1:13 this morning.

The Montauk Branch is back in Service according to Walk Radio with some delays. The leak has been stopped, but nobody in that area is aloud back to their houses.

I heard Sunrise was still closed, i have no idea about William Floyd though.
