Everyone knows how packed the 41-New Britain/Hartford route is, right? Why don't CT Transit order just 3 40' Xcelsior buses for DATTCO and wrap them for the 41 route? take 2 or 3 D35LFRs and send them to Waterbury or SEAT for extra buses? Then crowding would be at minimum at best. There. It has to be said. |
This wont happen the 41 is run by 3 buses 2 from hartford the 35ft from mbt the problem with your idea; is those buses are only packed in the morning and in the afternoon rush during the day those buses run almost emty so is verry unlikely for that to ever happen. this is my opinon as a bus driver of couses |

Why don't Hartford just take over the whole route. To get to New Britain by highway is 15 mins max. So they can easily start and end trips in both cities. |

Well i heard on the news ones about some hartford-new britain bus way witch was going to be built, it was a route between both cities using the side of the amtrak train tracks and some special buses would run this rute back and fowards between both city making some local stops along the way
at the time this sounded really cool but never heard about it again |

Oh no. It's happening, sometime 2014. uhh. But until then, at least CT Transit Hartford should take over the 41. |
