Funny how CT Transit smooshed up the 2010 roster.
1001-1004 Van Hool Fuel Cells for Hartford

Right now, I don't know. The order is 35 artics (10-Hartford, 13-Stamford, 12-New Haven). Now I'm hearing about 2 extra buses laying around. Maybe there's 24 buses and CT Transit skipped 1055-1060, or there 22 buses like it suppose to be, and they skipped 1053-1060. |

the buses were in fact 1063 and 1064 im sorry it was dark last night when i saw then and i could swear it was 1053 and 1054 but no there not |

WOO! those xcelsiors are lookin NICE! Are they going to be in the depot for the entire winter like the artics, or are they going into service?
Also, would you be able to get a good daytime shot sometime? |

| Ok it just hit me. Everyone knows how CT Transit wraps the ElDorados in special wraps to promote shuttle routes downtown. Right? Everyone knows how packed the 41-New Britain/Hartford route is, right? Why don't CT Transit order just 3 40' Xcelsior buses for DATTCO and wrap them for the 41 route? take 2 or 3 D35LFRs and send them to Waterbury or SEAT for extra buses? Then crowding would be at minimum at best. There. It has to be said. |
