Hopefully, I will be able to check these buses out in the next couple of weeks, as I may be attending a "kick the tires" session when the first Xcelsior arrives.

I would love to attend. When and where is this event located? |

The guys are right - the photos are fantastic and they are great looking buses.
My only concern would be with the divider mat (as pictured) and the possibility that a passenger might trip where the corners rise up toward the rear.
I know it's a long shot but taking a modified version of Murphy's Law into consideration; "anything that can happen, will happen"!
Now, as Lt. Columbo would say; just one more question;
How does that mat negotiate the turns? - I'm sure that is doesn't scrunch up - forgive my ignorance but I have no experience with Artics!

Mr. 'L'
| no actually u could stand there and you wont even feel the bus turning the floor is part of the bus the part that turns is under the floor |

This is not a public event. It is just an opportunity for some of us from the Waterbury operation to look over the Xcelsior and review the bus before our fleet is delivered, in case we have any comments or questions regarding the bus that we may want to address in the construction of the order.

Well I have this problem with New Flyer and the fact we have to stretch over people in order to pull the cord in the front at the wheelwell. Tell them about putting a stop button around there. |

Yes, thank you so much!
Do you happen to remember which bus this came from? Was it 1041 like your other pics? |

Not sure, haven't seem them myself. Gov Rell dedicated the new facility today, though, and toured 1042 that I guess just arrived. |
