|
About 4:30 p.m., westbound on NY 27 in Massapequa, Long Island, I spotted Kelley 216, a beautiful new coach as shown on their website:
http://www.kelleytransit.com/
----
Because my uncle, aunt, and cousins lived in Torrington and E.J. Kelley Transportation was across the street from the railroad station, I am delighted to encounter their fleet anytime. Unless memory errs, they provided service between Torrington and Brewster (1948?) using an elongated sedan with three or more doors per side.
----
Regarding the bus pictured in their website: Model? and how many are on the Kelley roster?
Thanks.

The bus shown on their home page is an MCI J4500. I'm not sure how many of them they have. On a sidenote, As much as I would like to I still have yet to ride a J4500. |
