Ty Angel of NorCal Discussion posted the attachment wondering if anyone new what it was.
To begin with, it's like nothing I've ever seen which could mean that it's straight out of a Kenworth design studio! (they came up with some odd balls in the thirties).
It's obviously Greyhound in the sense that the 'Hound' trademark is unmistakable but I have never seen "Greyhound Coaches' as the name of the company.
My educated guess would be that it's either a far out U.S. made demonstrator or of foreign origin and the latter suggestion is made stronger by the fact that there is no passenger door on the right side.
I'm betting on Australia!
Any takers?
Regards,
Mr. 'L'

Mr 'L' -
Gotta' guy in mind who may know something about this...
I've seen enough KENWORTH build that I'm not going for that possibility...
The coach looks more "Brit" in design. I'm not necessarily going for an assume Australia location, either...
Lemme check, and I'll advise in any case.....
Enjoy the Fourth!.................... Vern.................... |

Just a gut feeling. I think its someplace in the British Empire. Where is a seam to indicate a door on the right hand side of the bus. We can't see the
driver's wheel but I think since there's no right side door, the vehicle has right side drive. Also the retaining wall reminds me of the few English movies I have seen. |

Mr 'L' -
Heard from my guy. Neither of us want to say much with any weight to it!
The coach is possibly Brit. The film is not working with us, and it is difficult
to determine the builder "marque" on front...
I am uncertain whether the photo is telling us this coach had a rear mount
power plant, either. Some discussion that GREYHOUND did not have a
firm policy of stopping unlicensed use of its service and trade marks, too...
