At least it looks like they learned from the New Orleans RTA's miscues during Katrina and moved their buses to higher ground. |

There is an odd irony to this. Sometime back, History Channel, had a series of various gloom and doom scenarios that could happen.
One of the episodes dealt with whatever would happen if a particular dam broke, well upstream from Nashville...
Looks as the area had an equivalent disaster with the extraordinary rains...

They're supposed to be borrowing some of the Flxible Metros in our reserve fleet here at TARC. There are probably 15-20 good buses (slow, but operable) available. They apparently lost 39 buses in the flooding. Hate to hear that - Nashville's fleet is pristine.
