Personally, I would much rather drive or ride in a Prevost or MCI commuter bus than that sardine can...I dislike the Megabus VanHool DD's as well... Smile

IIRC, they came to market at about the same time is the MC-7....sometime in 1968. I rode Somersets Route 15 to Clark and back ...

When I lived in Omaha, in 1971-1973, the Omaha Transit Company entire fleet consisted of these Twin's, IIRC... The only GMC New Look's that came into town, were those from cross-river Council Bluffs ...

According to the 1969 SI Bus map the only SI express service was the 'R8X' from Port Richmond to Adams Street in Brooklyn. By the 1974 Bus map many express routes to Manhattan had been established.
