Many non-traction buffs usually associate TARS with only the Manhattan routes; in truth, the TARS network in the Bronx far overshadowed the lines in Manhattan.

It never ceases to amaze me as to how many vintage transit photos photos are either incorrectly dated, or give the wrong locations.

I never liked the look of the flexes with that small back window.
Neither did I.

I always preferred the original rear window myself; the smaller rear window on the later Flex New Looks almost look ...

Incidently, the 1962 photo I mentioned (with the two FACCo. buses under the IRT el) is the first photo I have ever seen of a FACCo. Fishbowl in COLOR!

Sure would not mind seeing more....... Very Happy
