Further note......

For some years after the line first opened, there were wall advertisements on the station platforms, as well as news kiosks; the original cars themselves bore some sort of resemb ...

.......in "WELCOME ABOARD THE GM NEW LOOK BUS" (McKane/Squier) there is an interior photo of an "stoa" TDH-5303, with "bowling alley" seating.

No straps/grips are seen ...
