In the mid-1950's I rode a White school bus every day. It was a model similar to this, however, I think the one in this picture might be just a bit newer.

I'm right with you, Mr. L; that is a great shot indeed.
Those Old Looks were aesthetically very pleasing, but they were a bit short on forward visibility.
